Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 brakes
Tilton 74 Series Master Cylinder 7/8" (22.2mm) Bore Cylinder Only on e bay £69.48 from Competition Supplies. This will sort out long travel pedal and better feel. Mintex Pads i would have to look up but my choice may not be every bodies as i only use my Atom on circuit not the road.

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 brakes
The brakes on my Atom 4 are great now i have altered them. Solid feel just like my Atom 3.5R. Simple fix really just need one new master cylinder and about 2 hours to fit and re bleed. An engineer friend of mine looked at it and suggested i alter the master cylinders to give a stiffer pedal with les...

Re: When is a 3.5R not a 3.5R?
When i originally had my 3.5 converted to a 3.5R at the factory they did have both options available with and without side pods. It just meant the charge cool radiator was positioned where the hot weather radiator goes horizontally in the front nose section. If the car has a charge cooler in the int...

Re: When is a 3.5R not a 3.5R?
I'm getting a little confused with this 3.5R or NOT a 3.5R. My understanding back when i had a 3.5 and sent to factory for the 3.5R upgrade was purely if it had the 350hp upgrade of chargecooler in manifold with associated radiator and water pump (separate circuit), crank pulley changed to create mo...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.
I can se the inlet temp and a lot more in the dash on the phone via bluetooth from the flashpro, realy convenient. On hard street use whit outside temp on 20 Celsius I got around 50 Celsius inlet temp. But I guess it would rise on the track. The main concern now is the hunting idle problem, calibra...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.
Interesting info Stuart. What's involved in getting the reading on to the dash? Ideally you need to run a DL1 datalogger as the dash 2 display only has a few analogue inputs which I think are all used by Ariel on a standard car Once the DL1 is fitted it connects to the Dash and provides a further 6...

Re: New owner of a 3.5R from Sweden.
We still got winter E85 when I filled the cans, hence E70 now E85 should be available. I got 10psi now factory claims that K24 3,5R should have 9psi. So I guess that I would hit 370hp whit E85 and normal temperature. Cooling seems to work god enough, we will se when I hit the track... Did your tune...

Has anyone gotten a full roll cage fitted and delivered? I've seen a picture of a green frame with full roll cage a while back but not the whole car. The full cage one in green you may have seen is mine although its not a bolt in cage its a full Cup Spec Chassis approved for motorsport. Although it...

Re: Project - Track Focused Atom 3
If I'm honest mate without looking online I couldn't be sure. My original IAT sensor was fitted by Ariel when I had my 3.5R conversion done. I have since changed the sensor for a different type which I could dig out details of but the cutting of the wires on the original harness was already done by ...
