Re: New member - Atom 2

Hi Tom and welcome. I've been through the strip, recoat and rebuild myself. Time consuming but a great feeling when done. Pics throughout the rebuild would be nice - have fun

Re: 'Carjacked'

The X-Jack and probably other quality copies can be inflated using exhaust or compressor

Re: 'Carjacked'

The Bushranger X-Jack seemed best in class (won awards) but was pricey. It's been around for many years so has been copied with some copies a third of the price (and probably a quarter the quality)

Re: 'Carjacked'

Ah didn't realise the Nomads have two 'real' outlets - thought it was one real + one fake like the Atom 3s

Re: For Sale: Atom 2 (2005) Supercharged

Thanks Curves. I'll still hang around in the forum (at least for a while). Having nothing Ariel in my life will be tough and I think talking about them may help. Interestingly, my Atom is heading to Munich so maybe not too far from you.

Not in the short to medium term Graeme. I may have to scratch the itch again in the future - time will tell

Re: Shift lights

I had to tap into the loom so not plug-n-play but also not that difficult. I noticed the new cartek version has an optional OBD connector so, if your car has an OBD port, it would be plug-n-play

This thread includes details of my mirrors.

Re: Shift lights

SPA also do a range of remote plug-n-play lights (but I've no experience of them)
