Re: FS: OEM Brammo Atom 2 Bench Seat

Your profile doesn't indicate where you're located.  That information would be helpful.

Are you looking for a local buyer or are you willing to ship it?

> does not come with brackets.

None of them do - they don't use any additional brackets for mounting.

Re: Where to mount a 6"x11" Oil Cooler?

I see your in CA so I'm going to make an assumption that you have a Brammo Atom with an Ecotec motor. Wasn't there an issue with adding a standard sandwich plate to the Ecotec motor?  I know Brammo did something more custom to add their cooler, can't recall exactly what the situation was though.  Di...

Re: Ariel 2 on ebay
Does anyone have any opinions on this Atom, like what it's worth, and if the engine is decent? I've been considering getting one for a while, but I don't know enough about them yet.
Yes, the Ecotec motor is very decent. :tu:  As far as what it's worth - that dep...

Re: Option for coil spring twist/flex and noise

I added these to the rear suspension only (for now), and added just one to each shock/spring assembly.  I removed the red helper springs from the rear quite some time ago because the red/black combo was deflecting enough to have the spring & aluminum spring separator rub the housing in several l...

You don't state where you're located, and your profile has that information blank as well.  Would help to know as we're a geographically diverse group.

Please see this thread.  It's quite helpful when people read your posts.

Re: Annual Maintenance?

I've used Hawk Blue pads on two cars I'd tracked prior to owning the Atom.  They've been relatively lightweight street cars (2000-2400 lbs) and the pads worked great for HDPE and drivers' school type events.  Minimal warm up time needed, unbelievable grip, and very high fade resistance.  On the down...

I assume that you mean wings and not spoilers?  Each has a different function/purpose.

Option for coil spring twist/flex and noise

We've talked about this issue in the past (in this thread a bit) and I know that some people have opted to add a torrington bearing setup on the suspension springs/perches. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/RS/SR/Product/7217888_R.jpg Some noise recently snuck back into my rear suspension and I thought ...

Re: A budget Atom
Doesn't need to be as powerful or with unparalleled handling, and they can tack on a cup-holder and even a radio.
I think most owners/enthusiasts would contend that a car that fits that definition really isn't an Atom, and I doubt that Ariel would want to build...

It's Wisp that shared his great results here - I haven't tried this - yet.

Wisp - where did you end up getting the fabric?  That link I posted above seems to have gone dead.
