Re: Euro trip - Pyrenees 2020

Mmmmm after watching some program on last night with Bikers taking a recent amputee over an Alpine route by Mont Cenis, it made me wonder what off road tracks we may find for the Nomad brigade....

Re: Euro trip - Pyrenees 2020

I would love to come - but both my sons have Graduation days that week from Uni - once I get dates I will see if any way to squeeze a few days in - maybe do the 5 days option.

Re: Steering wheel - bald patches

I had the same on my C63S Amg merc - but a bit of a rub with a damp microfibre did wonders - as you say, im sure you can use various products to sort better but it does seem to work.

Re: Club benefits - your ideas please...

Just an idea - but could all new car orders get a membership attached (added to the cars cost) and then money handed to the club ? May be a way of increasing the size and scope. Obviously owners could opt out but surely when spending the £60k plus on an Atom 4 you would just accept ?

Re: Club benefits - your ideas please...

One thing the South East Lotus Owners Club (Seloc) do is send a calendar every year to paid up members. They are way bigger than our club - but its an idea. Maybe an extra amount would be needed to be paid but then I'm not sure that would matter if there was value.

Thanks Pete for bringing the 4 - very interesting to see it next to the 3s.

Sorry I had to go but family duties etc ! But was a lovely drive there in the sunshine, and great to see everybody so well worth it.

Thanks Graeme and Karl etc

Re: Race Tech Dash2

Just to add my 2p worth Buying from Ariel is a very different experience to anything else I have found. There are no warranties - so you have to get your head round that. But then whenever I have had an issue they have gone beyond the call to sort it. I have had some pretty major things happen - and...

Re: Tyre grip

I have the 18s with the 60/40s on and its a great compromise - I actually ordered it with Ad08s but the factory cocked it up but I went with it and am happy. I use the cut slicks / rally cross things - they are amazing on track but the arms/shoulders get a good work out !! On road (if I used them wh...

My washer bottle was fairly full but not brimmed. Not had a leak yet. But if I am honest I never use it as it just drips onto the driver/passenger !!!

One of the guys on our Surrey Hills jaunt back in April had a similar issue and had made a hole to adjust it - the Ohlins are clearly the best option but they do look a bit of a faff !!
