Re: Nomad Welsh Rally Stage Day

Looks like great fun. Will there be any video footage (he says, living vicariously through you)?

Re: TALL TALL GUYS

I don’t know the answer but I am wondering if you could make an expanding foam seat work in an Atom. I don’t know if the floor is strong enough though. Eg https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/s/pit-track-rally-equipment/seat-foam-and-seat-making-kits I was going to go this route with my Lotus but I ju...

Re: Nomad Welsh Rally Stage Day

This is exactly why I want a Nomad (but am not quite brave enough to make happen). For those going, have a great day.

Re: First trackday in my Atom 4

What is the solution to the overheating issue? This seems a fairly serious limitation of the car.

Re: Nomad Wanted

It looks like it needs a proper clean, which is annoying, but it might be a bargain. It seems more than £4k underpriced to me but I haven't put the spec in to the Ariel spec sheet to see what the new-build cost would be

That's very informative, thanks! I've just installed GoPro Labs on my Hero8 as a result.

Re: Hans lll device

I use a Simpson Hybrid (although in a different car brand as I haven't got an Ariel yet!) and although it is a bit of a faff, attaching it to the helmet each time I go out, it is very comfortabe to use and I like the idea of some lateral protection. Re: Suppose I best say hi….

Would an Outdour Carcoon or similar help the insurance company? It would at least mean the Atom is out of sight.

WTB: Nomad 300

Is anyone looking to sell their Nomad 300?

In an ideal world (!) options would include:

Alcon brakes
Hydraulic handbrake
Baffled sump
Heated windscreen
Ambidextrous chassis

Thank you.
