I heard Belt slippage is a common problem on the 3.5R (I suppose it will also occur on a 3.5)

No issues at all with the 3.5R

just FYI i drove 60km today with my 9y old atom (and 9y old battery) and left the lights on when i parked, turned the lights of 4hours later, starts with no problem... (lucky me)

As the title implies, I am looking forward to have my first trackday with my Atom. I did 2 trackdays with my bike (Z750), but that is totally different i suppose. I plan on doing some fun driving (read: not interested in shaving of seconds) and I would like to know how to prepare for a trackday. FYI...
