Re: Wanted Atom 4 (or maybe 3.5)

Hi Charlie, My Atom 4 will be advertised next week. It is 2020 with just 1,100 miles and has just been serviced. It has been on track once. It has all the right bits e.g 350 HP upgrade, LSD, Ohlins (£5K option) etc. Please let me know if you are interested by email Lance@LRED.uk.com or 07802 262001....

Re: Atom 4 Track day set up ?

See the owners manual, page 40. As for the brake bias, set it a bit more to the front then adjust further 2 clicks away from the end that locks up first. Move it 2 turns BACK for the wet as there is less forward weight transfer with lower breaking forces. My car is on the recommended track settings ...

Re: Rough track fuel usage on Atom 4

Of course that's 3 miles per litre - I will not mention were I got my maths degree! I was not too concerned about the high temperature readings. It was a fairly warm day and the temperature only just squeaked into the red and soon dropped back. This could depend on where the temperature sensor is in...

Re: Rough track fuel usage on Atom 4

105 track miles yesterday consumed about 35 litres, so 3 litres per mile. That was Silverstone GP. The digital gauge is a bit erratic when the fuel is low and sloshing about! I came in just about on empty and it crept up to 15% in the pitlane. I also found that the car only takes about 25 litres so ...

Re: Atom 4 - Build and Collection

I got aftermarket TRS 6 point harnesses for my 4. Slightly childish I know but one of the reasons (OK the main reason) was the colour choice - bright green! The side seat belt eyes can just fit the lap belt and crutch harness. I believe that the Magnum range has the clip type fittings. In terms of c...

Re: Atom 4 - Build and Collection

Section 22 or owners manual is fairly clear. Boost 3 = "Maximum performance available" (for the mathematically inclined I believe the 350 HP cars have 30 HP more available power than the 320 HP cars). Boost 2 = "Same top end performance as level 3 but reduced aggressiveness in mid ran...

Re: Another 4 up for auction

The buyer hit it with £50 K from the start and there was only the one bid. It was probably a sound tactic although I expect he is wondering whether £48 K might have secured it... "Oh come on, what's another £500" quickly racks up to being a higher price than the top bid that we set for our...

Re: Another 4 up for auction

Yes, it is indeed the very same yellow car that sold from PH about a month ago... and it now looks like it has sold again (listed as deposit taken). I viewed it myself and very nearly bought it. I actually ended up buying the green one from Collecting Cars 2 weeks ago! It's great.
