Having 20 stone of man-muscle standing on a seat on one foot as he tries to get in?

I'd be cautious...

Dumb Question King- Fat passengers

Some of my mates are rather big chaps in the belly dept.
Is there a limit to weight in the passenger seat? I understand the handling implications, but just thinking about the safe working load for the seats?!

Thanks again in advance

Re: Polished silencer

I know its bit anal - but my winter pass time - I'm looking forward to being in the garage, listening to the rain tippling on the roof, music on, maybe a cool one in hand - polishing the exhaust by hand!

Re: More daft questions...2.4 Engine

Thanks for your very informative replies.
90% of my driving will be on the road, so I think I can live with the slight negative aspects.
From my test ride I have no issues with the noise, I thought it sounded awesome, and was certainly quick enough!
Thanks Again

More daft questions...2.4 Engine

I don't seem to be able to find much info on the 2.4 Engine?

Why did they change?
What are the differences? More torque at lower revs?
Your thoughts on the 2.4?

(Go easy as I've just bought one!)

Re: Newbie from Portsmouth area

You'll be fine, as being a Biker like I am and was when I bought mine in 2006, you'll know how to feed the power in instead of just stamping on the accelerator, which is how I reckon owners lose the back end and spin off out of control. :vroom: Just treat it with respect the way you learnt riding y...

Re: Towing Dolly

You might 'not be worried' about the legalities but I personally would be concerned about how it might affect the insurance should you unfortunately be involved in an accident while towing your dollied Atom! The possible invalidation of my insurance l, after taking informal advice from a barrister ...

Re: Newbie from Portsmouth area

Great news Phil. Im not too far from you so meet up sometime. My car is almost the same spec and age as yours. I knew its first owner briefly. I nearly bought mine with the same Porsche Saphire blue panels. Originally, I wasn't too keen on the blue (and thought I could change it anyway), but when I...
