Re: K44 NMD - New Owner

Welcome alexmac, having done some Surrey Hills green-laning and Salisbury Plain with Karl I feel like I know the car well! You will certainly have got some very well thought through and fun mods on that car, congratulations. What part of the world are you in? I am in Hants so woul...

Re: Fox suspension settings

Hi Antong , Probably takes a bit of de-ciphering. But it's all in the pic. above on my shed door ;) The column on the left is the factory 'road' settings. The column on the right is where I ended up after the off-road experimentations. HSC = High speed compression LSC = Low speed ...

Nomad Bilstein (non-adjustable) Shocks For Sale

Front and rear Bilstein Shocks for sale that came with my Nomad. For sale after changing out for Fox. These have done only about 3,000 miles and are in very good condition. All the paint is still on the springs with no chips. Used mainly on-road. No price in mind as realise they have a limited marke...

Re: 5555 MILE Review

Having read GTM's Nomad review with interest, I wanted to provide a bit of a counterpoint. I also enjoyed the other owner's comments. It’s not that I disagree with GTM's perspective – in fact I share a lot of it, but it does feel like a bit of a ‘glass half empt...

I think it would be handy to have a cat for my Nomad. Anyone know if an Atom cat will go in a Nomad?

Re: Fox suspension settings

Having finally spent some time setting up my Foxes for the forthcoming Salisbury hoon, this is what I learnt. Followed Karl’s thread it seemed clear that my car had left the factory with road-orientated settings (indeed Steve told me this when I picked it up), I was as reported above, pretty happy –...

Re: Searching questions from a nomadless wonderer

Hi Antong , As Karl mentioned I upgraded my Nomad from standard Bilsteins to Fox suspension last October. It was a toss-up between the Fox suspension and a supercharger - about the same price. I've driven a N/A Nomad and a s/charged one. And I've driven with Bil...

Some of us would like - quite a bit more - mud. . . >:D

Great run and good to meet some new arielists. Now I know what an 'Atom' is. Quite the thing for roads.

And thanks for organising Karl V . Sterling work :)

Re: Nomad pics for website

Hi Karl, sadly lacking any pics of the Nomad in action. But I attached this one as it went in the 2020 Calendar (January, obvs.) so someone must have liked it.

Re: Season Kick Off Run - Sunday 28th June (UPDATED DATE)

Was so pumped up by the idea of the Kick-off run that cancellation forced me to improvise, and my son who was slated to join me hopped in for a spin to Lulworth Cove. As you can see the weather was pretty dreadful. . . >:D https://imgur.com/dyhDhSM https://imgur.com/B8OOO9Q https://imgur.com/n7hvbdq...

Re: Water water everywhere

Like this vesuvious? [Imgur](https://imgur.com/Kx6dXJq) And where's the air filter? (Just kidding.) This was on Boxing Day, so I have to say we were more worried about our trousers freezing in situ than the air filter. So we picked a pub 40 minutes away and tried a bit of air drying. Did get some fu...

Re: Season Kick Off Run - Sunday 21st June

From what I've heard, it's a front that will give rain or showers between about 7-10am. I would say - let's get on with it, but make it a couple of hours later.
