Tank range
Finally got round to finding out the range on a 12lt tank on the Ace. Normal driving , A&B class roads , no dual carriage ways or motorways. 146 miles then the fuel light came on (orange). After another 19 miles the orange fuel light changed to red . After that it was around 1 mile to petrol sta...

Re: JK Composites
I had a bike seat gel filled by this company . http://www.cemoore.co.uk/. Quick turnaround and very friendly on the phone. They removed the foam and replaced it with gel and replaced the existing cover . First class job, just looked like original. Don’t know if this is any help . Certainly worth a l...

Re: Tire pressure’s
Ariel say 36 psi front and rear.
Honda say 36 psi front and 42 psi rear.
Guess the 42psi rear is for riding with pillion.
In our case we’ll all be riding solo.

Re: Dash info !
Thanks. I had to start fresh no claims when I bought my Ariel as well, Bennetts’s wouldn’t transfer my NCD to the Ariel. Have had a look on the MSM website , there’s a lot of info about the Ace to put in . Think I might just give them a call. Love your photos. Stunning bike. I’ve had people asking t...

Re: Dash info !
This is all I have from Ariel. Just left mine pretty much as it came from Ariel. There’s probably quite a few things you can change with these buttons. I’m not much of a person to get into the really technical side of things, I’ve never went past the basic setup. If your unsure give Ariel a call , I...

Re: Insurance
I have my Ace insured with Bennetts’s. Two bike policy. NCD 9 years. 5000 miles per year. All track ,bike tracker fitted, this was stipulated when first insured by Bennetts’s. Last year £400 for the two bikes , be interesting to see the renewal which is due in March. Any idea if the above mentioned ...

Re: Dash info !
No , it’s a standard Ace. 150 miles , the reserve light still never came on . Wouldn’t want to do more than that without a petrol can with me. I’m really curious how many miles you would get to a tank. Have to do a bit of research.
Re: New photo
Looks fantastic. Just need the summer now to get some miles on it

Re: Tank range
Had to go for the larger tank due to geographical location. Have to go to larger town’s for petrol stations . 40 miles north of Aberdeen , oil capital of europe,
but for couriers delivering items were classed as a remote area.
Fancy posting photos of your A of D ?.
Keep safe.

Re: Dash info !
Still love my Ace even after 16000 miles.
Even if I’m 1year short of being an OAP.
Just wish we had longer summer to enjoy more time out on them.
