I have a set of round Ariel lights that I took off my Nomad when I replaced them with a light Bar.
I am on 07768 455 456 if you are interested. They dont have the light Bar mounting rail.

Re: LED bulb replacement for 2017 3S
I put a pair of LED light bars in place of the ( frankly rubbish) roof lights.
The light bars are so bright the I did have occasional problems with being dazzled by reflective signposts.Never got round to sorting out the dipoed beam though!

Re: Canvas roof
I had set made a while ago. I was dong anything up to 900 miles in a day and these kit was excellent as it could easily be packed away. I think for a summer rain cover the area round the wing mirrors is just a s important as the roof. Have a look here : https://ariel.club/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&am...

Re: Nomad Roof Rack
I mounted a large (130L) aluminium top box in place of the spare wheel. It did an excellent job but if I strapped an additional bag on the top, it was marginally above the roofline and took 15-20 mph off the top speed while reducing the fuel range even further. That may not be an issue for you but w...

Re: Installing tunes in a Nomad
I tried a large JBL speaker which was useless above 50mph. In the end I went down the set-up I used on Motorbikes. Autocom controller, installed into Peltor Headsets (the Autocom factory did this) with Boom mikes. I also used custom fitted earplugs (Snuggs) which gave an excellent sound. This gave S...

Re: Nomad for sale collecting cars
Amazing lights, fitted them to mine. I found the standard spots flooded the cockpit so were distracting. The more focussed beam of these do not, but they are so bright that signposts start to dazzle!

Re: Must have options
Supercharger Alcon Brakes Forget the 4x Hella spots but get a pair of LED light bars. Not just for the way superior light quality. Comms system Some kind of luggage capacity. It obviously depends on what you are using the car for but that’s what I have fitted. Oh, and the cat bypass pipe is great un...

Summer Rain Covers
Having done many trips to Europe over the last couple of years and got very wet from time to time I set about finding some rain covers that I could take with me and give adequate protection for the odd storm. What I found was the the area round the wing mirrors tended to funnel rain straight into yo...

Re: Ratchet seat option
I had the same problem and bonded aluminium plates onto the inside of the seat inserts where the bolts go. I then cut sliders out of the seat and Aluminium fillets so the the seats could be slackened off on the 4 bolts then slide forwards. I also angled the sliders so the as the seat moved forwards ...

Re: Screen To cover the Wing Mirror Aperture.
Full face helmets just take up too much space on long trips to the continent. The full winter cover is overkill so a half way house thats easily carried in the car for the days when you get caught out by the weather Is what I am looking to achieve.

Screen To cover the Wing Mirror Aperture.
Has anyone tried to seal up this area? As we all know in heavy rain this area seems to act as a funnel to fire rain straight into you face!
Has anyone come up with a solution other than goggles?

Re: Helmets and Nomads
On Longer trips (600-700 miles in a day) I use Peltor ear defenders and mounted an Autocom SPA system into them.I also have some custom in ear Monitors from the bike that I can use as well to cut the sound right down although I didn't really use them on a trip last week to Corsica and back. I get vo...

Re: Top Box ideas... anyone got any?
I cut off the top of the spare wheel carrier to create a flat platform and then mounted a Givi Outback top Box with about 130L capacity. Have done about 6k miles with it on some long trips and its ideal for what I need. Plenty of capacity for 3 weeks travel. Will send more pics if you want.
