Re: Transport to the factory

Spare a thought for us Northern folk. Eight hour drive in a car, up to eleven with a trailer! Now I do like a trip down to Somerset but a service Center a little further North would be nice!

Re: First time Atom owner

Hi Chris,
You’ve done the right thing joining the Ariel Club! I live just south of Edinburgh and have a Nomad. I’m a member of the Northern Ariel Chapter with members from mostly across the Borders. If you would like to join the madness you would be very welcome.

Collective Nouns!

Hello!
I am very sure somebody can tell me what the collective Nouns are for a group of Nomads , Atoms and Aces. The rude answers have already been used up at the Northern Chapter WhatsApp group!
I hope everyone has been out in their cars in the good weather!
All the best
D.

Re: Back in the fold Cumbrian owner..

I’m from Endmoor just outside Kendal originally but I live just south of Edinburgh at the moment. You will know George and the lads then. Still meet at Alston for a bacon roll and a natter!

Re: Nomad Roof Rack

It’s a bold effort.I’m with you on the side view. There must be some support going on in there somewhere.A lot of buggering about to check the oil and you would have to sit Steve at Ariel down with a strong cup of tea after he saw the welding!

Re: Nomad Roof Rack

Interesting Jerry!
I don’t know why they would go that way with the wheel rack through. If you find out any more it would be good. Handy for trips up the Alps etc.To my knowledge there has only been one designed and fitted at Ariel. It is in the workshop as we speak!
Cheers

Re: Welsh Weekend - 10th to 14th September 2020

Hi all,
I just wanted to thank all the folk in the recently closed “Asylum chat” on WhatsApp.The mostly bonkers chat was a much needed laugh in difficult times.Enjoy the Wales trip and I will be involved a bit more when this bloody awful pandemic is sorted out.
Cheers,
Andrew D.

Re: 150 Years of Ariel Festival

All book up!
Nomad owners you have to try the 4x4 coarse at Thruxton. If you think you know all that your Nomad can do think again!
You will also be getting Badgers out of your grill for weeks.
Now then,where am i ?
