Re: WANTED : Atom 3.5
One caution before you decide on buying a N/A Atom intending to upgradie it by adding a supercharger is to speak to the factory BEFORE buying to ensure that you/they can source a Jackson supercharger as they can be very difficult to find as, as far as I'm aware, they are no longer produced - but the...

When fitted they also effectively protect both the driver and passenger from stones and spray kicked up by the front tyres!

Stand alone Satnav - is the writing on the wall?
Quote: ".........TomTom is the company that has now unofficially admitted defeat in the battle against mobile navigation apps. TomTom is already a leader in the navigation world, though the firm seems to focus more on integrated services powering vehicle navigation rather than dedicated GPS uni...

Re: 97 Ron Fuel
I personally wouldn't worry about using 97 RON fuel as the ECU will automatically adjust to whatever fuel is used (within reason) and set the timing accordingly. 98 has a slightly better Knock rating than 97 but you can safely run a Honda engine even on 95 RON as the anti-knock sensor will prevent a...

Re: Keeping an Atom outside under a Cover
Have you considered purchasing a CarCoon? This would not require any planning permission. This would protect the Atom (I would suggest that you would probably still need a cover for the Atom) but I would use the cargo net securely strapped down to the ground but only loosely covering the whole sheba...

Fuel gauge again!
Yesterday my fuel gauge was reading 0 and the 'low fuel' red lights were continuously flashing all the time up/down hills, on the flat and round bends (both left and right). So decided to refuel, although I didn't believe the display, when I pulled into the petrol station the red lights were solid -...

Re: Does Frame Get Hot in Sun?
Rider It's nothing whatsoever to do with the seat getting hot - it's ME getting hot and sweating buckets down my back onto the seat! - have you ever driven a 'naturally' air-conditioned open topped car in 40°C (104°F) I can assure you that the over temping is nothing to do with the car per se! By br...

Re: Does Frame Get Hot in Sun?
My Atom is in Cyprus where the temperatures this year have regularly exceeded 40°C. I have velcro pads on the seats which don't seem to get too hot and I've never found the frame has been too hot when levering myself in or out!. However driving it is another matter as the seat quickly becomes a saun...

Re: Help required.
Having had a very short play with a sequential Atom on the road I also stalled it once or twice until the owner told me to use the paddle and clutch as if I were driving a manual gearbox car which solved the problem - but I would wholeheartedly agree with Peter255' opinion that for road use the sequ...

Re: Lose both FOBs in Atom 3. Now what?
Check with TMI the manufacturer of your immobiliser and then simply buy and fit a new immobiliser - or, alternatively, simply trailer the Atom to an vehicle electrical shop - get them to replace the immobiliser - you, or more probably the vendor, will probably have to produce proof of ownership! I h...
