Re: Self-Cancelling Indicators - a new batch?
What's MOT? In the past I do the same as you Bruce. Tuning my bike or car with thinks I want - sh1t happens legal or not. No front plate --> paying 85 Euro No warning triangle --> paying 10 Euro MOT is in a way like TÜV in Germany. As I wrote before. When you think like that… better leave everythin...

Re: car setup optimizing
In Germany I can recommend Raeder Motorsport. Not just for Atoms but in general for all kind of fast and/or racing cars. They do have plenty of experience in doing setups for street or track. But first of all you have to tell them what the car should behave when you will drive it. It depends on your...

Re: Self-Cancelling Indicators - a new batch?
The background of my question is that the indicator switch is only legal when the blinking is permanent and now the blinking stops no later than 30 Seconds. If you think like that than you have to stop driving an Atom in Germany. Because the registration there is somehow questionable in the first p...

Honda Antifreeze Type 2 (it's blue and premixed)

Re: Helmets??
I use a HJC RPHA10 Plus. Its silent (imho!) and light 1250gr. Has an additional chin curtain with a spoiler and a double d strap. I would never want to drive in a heavy helmet. It stresses your trap muscles a lot and you get quickly tired and distracted from driving. The Schuberth C3 Pro is a heavy ...

Re: Brake adjustment
I had a phone call with the German importer Steffen Queck few weeks ago and he told me that it's not a good idea to use the brake bias adjuster when I have the small brake in the rear because this rear brake is to undersized. All my opinion here so... As the Alcon brakes on the front will lock up q...

Re: Brake adjustment
Why all the fiddling? Go and order the brake bias adjuster from Demon Tweeks or ISA Racing. http://www.isa-racing.com/index.php/cat/c293_Waagebalkenzubehoer.html It is worth every €. When you are used to how the adjustment works with your driving style you are playing a lot with it (due to temperatu...

Re: Brake Light Switch change
Is it really the brake light switch that is without any function or does it only need a proper brake bleeding? Maybe bubbles or to much moisture in the brake fluid.
I have done my yearly brake fluid change and just a gentle tap on the brake pedal activates the brake lights. the pedal must be firm.

Re: Front wing issue...
The truth is that this wing is mounted on a +500hp Atom. I'm not a scientist or an expert in aerodynamics by any means... but on that Atom almost every part was changed during the rebuild. I think nobody knows how much additional force there is due to the acceleration and high speed potential of thi...

Probably should be another topic, but what would you buy for under a grand or under 5 for that matter? Quite fancy the idea of something fun that I don't car what happens to.
