Re: Moving from Atomic to Nomadic?

I would try and get behind the wheel of both a Normad and an Atom 4.IMO I’d go for with the Nomad if you really want to take it off road and have somewhere to do so… if you’re comparing both cars purely for road use I’d pick the Atom 4 every time. It’s changed considerably in its ride and driving ch...

Re: Recording a route off road

Can you not borrow a Wahoo or Garmin device from a fellow cyclist? My Wahoo Bolt would easily record for 8+ hours and then allow you to export a gpx track. There are a load of free apps you could use on an iPhone (ridewithGPS, Strava, Wahoo etc) but you'd need an additional power pack or plug into t...

Re: Garage door security

No experience with the above, I used this one which is a similar idea. Its bolted to the garage door then locked by the bolt into the ground. http://saundersonsecurity.co.uk/bulldog-garage-door-lock.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA_JTUBRD4ARIsAL7_VeWuDKoHXimJFK__RLzRSo4cM61bBM9KUbpFAtJNwvE_iITNe7xSqsEaAr4ZEALw_wcB

Re: Tyres....again

I think your choice to start with the 18inch wheels is a good bet as it gives you most options i.e. you can fit either off road or road based tyres. With the 15inch wheels you can only get offroad/SUV bias tyres. As to the tyre choice I guess it will ultimately come down to where you want to drive t...

Re: What trailer?

As I purchased the Widebody model it came with the ramps integrated into the trailer, I'm pretty sure there was no option for longer ramps. The ramp length was around 6ft from memory, I only ever used the ramps that it came with. I got used to loading the trailer whilst not attached to the car at an...
