Thanks for that Ben.  I've booked my car (not actually bought it yet!) in for a check and service, as a baseline point to start with.  But I'm keen to do my own work on routine stuff.  Look forward to sharing tips in the future.

Hello gents.  I'm due to pick up my car from Scotland to trailer it back to Bristol later this month.

I would welcome any recommendations for tie points, or points to avoid!  One obvious one is the front towing eye to use.
