Re: Hello/Digital Dash Question

The dash2 doesn't allow download/backup of what's on the device. You can only send to it. The dash2 Pro allows 2-way communication through a USB port. If you decide to create new screen layouts and upload to dash you'll need to know the formulas or calibration tables for the fuel level sensor and wa...

Re: Forum Issues

The forum seems to have issues fairly frequently because of the server/hosting. It it's of any use I can host it on one of our company dedicated servers for free that are quite powerful and have continuous backup as well as remote daily/weekly/monthly backups. That was me, don't know why it posted ...

Re: AA2 fuel level values

@FrankRizzo any chance of sharing your dash pro config / wiring info? I’d be especially interested to know if you have the wheel speed sensor ( on the cv outer ) or if you also got an upgraded ECU for the data output. I bought the car from the guy who had the dash installed, and paid some speed sho...

Re: AA2 fuel level values

On the dash2 Pro you can't just plug in the sensor directly. The native spa dash uses changes in resistance to measure the values but the dash 2 Pro uses changes in voltage. A pull up resistor needs to be wired in to do the conversion. Once you have done that then you need to work out the voltages f...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

I personally find it (the repair) interesting, at complete odds with how I would repair a car, but interesting nonethelessless I know I am new here, and probably shouldn't say but I don't get why this is causing so much agro - its a repair done in the public domain with full transparency, and it is...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

3 hrs labour wasn't it? Lost key, knackered key, who knows. Obviously the previous owner thought it was ok. There's always an option to DIY. On the transport, again it is a choice. No it wasn't lost keys. It was removing the nuts. If it was lost keys they would have invoiced the fob separately and ...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

So why, in the latest upload do they continue? If you actually listen to what they say, they refer to their previous comment and say they don't mean the C word but still consider rich, going off the invoice that they're reading out. For most people paying over £200 for locking wheel nuts to be take...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

The club has reached out I sent a message on Facebook As of yet no response ( No surprise) As you say having considerable knowledge of the 3.5 I thought it might be helpful to them Even in jest to be referred to as Rich C T’s is taking piss just because you don’t like the negative views you receive...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

I struggle to find anything positive that's been said to them publicly on this forum. There's plenty of owners that had extensive knowledge of the car that could give them sound advice but I cant see any, which goes back to my old adage that I said years ago that the perception to outsiders is that ...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

-sponsored by Skunkwurx? ;D Not at all. But I've seen this same pattern here when the americans used to try to voice opinions, when a company tried to bring out a set of wheels for the atom, and when numerous other people tried to do certain other things. Kinda gets tiring being in the company of &...

Re: Cat S 3.5 on YouTube

I think everyone needs to lighten up and give the guys a break and see it for what it is – YouTube content for entertainment. They’re not trying to have one over anyone or pretend it’s going to be perfect, they’re seeing what they can do and its their car so they can do whatever they feel like to it...

Re: Replacement Wheel Options

The ones that needed spacers were the first 5 sets made for development and sold directly by rota to various owners. The wheels were then modified and all future sets and the sets sold through skunkwurx don't need spacers.

Re: Mud guards / Fenders

Had quote of £450 to wrap all 4, that seem high ? Not sure what others have paid. That's stupidly expensive. If you get a qood quality wrap like a 3m it'll cost you around £30-40/m and you can wrap it yourself in about 15 mins each if that. The 3m and other premium material is easier to work with t...

Re: ATOM 4 (350BHP) 2020 — FOR SALE

Plenty of porsche and ferrari etc all of which are a lot more practical as the early adopters of the car 'mature'.

And that 46k would have been a higher spec model. Higher spec 4s are easily going in to 80k territory.

Re: ATOM 4 (350BHP) 2020 — FOR SALE

I think whats happening is what used to be a 20-30k hobby has slowly become a 50-70k hobby and all of a sudden people are realising the difference in economics and struggling to justify having it over other things in life. Not to mention the prices are creeping towards supercar territory which then ...
