Re: Atom 4 forged wheels
Like you, the switch to Dymags was very noticeable. The switch from standard to forged in the AA4 is nowhere near as noticeable, but they do look a lot nicer. I think that standard wheels on the 4 are a lot lighter than the standards were certainly on the 2.

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 brakes
Worth me adding here: With the brake and accelerator being so much closer on the 4, I am still not convinced that at least some of the time I am hitting the accelerator at the same time as the brake, which would obviously explain my comments on feeling and performance.

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 brakes
I have found the brakes on the 4 to be the most disappointing aspect of a great car. Particularly on track, but also on the road, I just have no confidence in them. The long travel described above just sucks away the feel. It feels like there is nothing nothing and then lock up. I am been told to fi...

Re: 2022 track day
Is there a list being kept somewhere for the Anglesey 13th and 14th June? Would like to take part if I can. Looking back at my photos, it looks like we haven't had a really big track meet may since Bedford in 2009.

Re: Resin seat insert
OK, with no answers so far to this, I have had this guy recommended by Marc Mercer (who used to race in Atom Cup and still races Historics and Enduro): https://www.indiseatracing.com/ The fitting cost is £325 plus the kit, so probably £500 all in. Unfortunately they are based in South Wales, so I wo...

Resin seat insert
Does anyone have any recommendations for a resin seat fabricator? If you don't know what I am talking about, it is things like this: https://www.demon-tweeks.com/schroth-profi-seat-kit-2014446/ They are meant to be DIY, but I can see myself making a huge mess and making a rubbish insert, so would ra...

Replacement Wheel Options
This has been covered many times before, but I thought could do with a refresh: Has anyone looked at alternatives to the factory wheels in the UK recently? I know the stud pattern is odd so there is not a wide choice, but I am looking for something lighter than the standard and maybe a more modern d...
