Many thanks for organising us Reg, I'd never have got round to going otherwise.

The car of the day for me? (apart from ours of course ;) ) the MG SA - stunning example.

Hi Chris, I am so glad everyone enjoyed it. I watched grown men discover cars from their childhood and the enthusiasm was totally infectious. The site is such a jewel, and it's a must see for anyone remotely interested in cars. In the Jaguar Heritage Museum they had the first and the last e-type's ever made, which is about as cool as it gets in my book. Despite many visits with my Jaguar friends I always find something new to look at..did you see the 'Longbridge Mini'...just epic

And my wife and I laughed at your car setting off a car alarm as you drove past!

That was a super interesting visit! Loads of stuff to look at, old, very old, new and lots of fascinating prototypes. Cars cut down the middle, engines opened up, historic cars, famous cars, XJ13 showing how beautiful a car can be. I could gladly spend a day there and I'm going back. Also had a damn good drive from Pear Tree services.
Well done!!

Ok, I'll get to Peartree services just down the road from North Oxford BMW by 08:45 to leave by 09:00 arriving at JLR by 10ish. If anyone wants to follow it's a simple route A44 to A429 or turn off on the B road halfway.

Hi,

Just looking at possible meet up options.

1. If anyone wants to join me on the way up from Thame then LMK, I'll be going through the back roads.
2. As a group we can meet around Banbury or a larger group it has always worked ok at the services at Wolvercote?
3. Museum opens at 10am, breakfasts are pretty good :D I'll ask them to allow for 10, just in case some make the call late to attend and wish to meet there.

See you all tomorrow.

We'll be coming via the M40 from London, it'd be nice to meet on the way.

Happy to meet on route to BMM. I’m coming from North Cotswolds so would usually head up the Fosse Way then across to Gaydon but flexible.
