Thanks, I guess that’s why x3 1 litre bottles are needed.
Baring in mind I had U.S. Quarts which are down about 50ml I think ?
I’ve added 1.9l of oil.

As a comparison 1.35L came out ?

The Nomad manual states max capacity 2.1 litres

Gearbox Oil Change

All, I have changed the gearbox oil in my Nomad.

I’ve bought Redline MTL instead of using the MTF from Honda.
I’ve read and been told that I need 3 litres of oil OR fill it up till it dribbles out !!!!!!!

So I cracked the fill plug, then the drain. Dropped the oil into a container, had the front end up on ramps so it could dribble out as much as possible.
I then filled it up with both bottles of oil and nothing dribbled out.
Man maths then suggested that I then put the drained fluid into the bottles to see how much is left over.

Imagine my surprise when the drained oil filled one and a half bottles ? So I’ve drained out 1.5 litres but added 2. But that’s still not enough l.

The car was rolled off the ramps and filled on the flat.

Any advice ? Or am I worrying unnecessarily?
