I took scotg down the track by Brockets Farm, then headed over to Leith Hill / Wolverns Lane with my nephew.

There seems to be some interest to Salisbury Plain at some point in the future too.

Next time Trigger! Hope the shoulder mends...

What off road tracks did u do ? I walked the London Road from Coombe lane south into Shere yday and looks a great track - only opened in May.

Thanks all that was a great showing. Some of us were chatting about the next. Every third Sunday of the month. Thought it might be good to vary the destination slightly. Next one is June 16th. Watch this space. Good to meet some new people as well :-)

Rob

According to my info from the TomTom website (and an email from them) your Rider 400 should still successfully navigate a planned route OK

- the only problem with this TomTom, and Garmin, older units is that - due to the April 6th 2019 GPS clock rollover - it simply won't be able to calculate journey times and therefore provide a destination ETA.

I'll be heading down in the morning, but have just discovered that my v2 Tomtom Rider doesn't seem to know where it is? Yes, I've seen the other thread about it's obsolescence. But I had updated it and it was working. Should make for an interesting journey . ::)

Hopefully see you all there.

Rob.

Weather still looks clear for tomorrow morning. We may even get some sun.

See you all at 0845 at Silent Pool car park

Hi Rob, this wasn't necessarily a drive about together. See first posts. It was about driving early on your own favourite (empty) roads, then meeting together for a coffee/breakfast etc then heading home. The format the other car clubs use at this location.

Having said that;

1. If any of use are arriving from the same direction then we should join up to drive to the meet together. I am arriving from the West. Think Im the only one. I will work out a route soon and post it on the MyRoute-App site if anyone wants to join me at any point?

2. There is no reason why we cannot go on a drive together after breakfast somewhere, and I suspect we will probably do this. Tomorrow, we will pop across to Box Hill, and Karl has suggested at a future run (3rd Sunday every month) we can travel down to Brighton after breakfast. We can discuss this tomorrow then post it back here on the forum

Rob Evans - I was planning on getting to Silent Pool car park for 8:45, but I don't know if others will be around earlier or not.

Probably doesn't help you though does it?

:-(

Just to confirm.
Are we meeting 0845 then a drive about, or a drive about before meeting at 0845?

Debating whether to come down tonight and stay local?

Rob.

That makes at least 3 Nomads - it'll be great to see you scotg!

I'm planning to do a track or two around Leith Hill afterwards if you're up for a bit of gravel and dust ;-)
