Morgan !!! it would have to be an early one. The quality of finish on the new three wheelers and four wheelers for that matter are, in my honest opinion questionable. If you take a close look (i owned a 2009 4/4 from new) i am afraid they are selling cars on the basis of hand made quality. The company only fulfilles that claim with the fact the factory isn't automated as mass production factory's are. I had always wanted a Morgan and was sadly disappointed with the quality and as such sold my 4/4. I previously worked for a company were we made "hand made car bodies" and as such saw a huge difference. A true hand made pannel is made by hand to fit an opening on a single car, Morgan make hand made pannels and fit to any car that comes allong regardless weather it is a good fit or not

definitely agree that if I was going 3 wheels and would like to at some point it would be a Morgan, watching the reviews the Slingshot doesnt fill me with confidence...

Yes, I do see them selling a lot.  It is more about price point IMHO  and, yes, I was wondering what happened to Wherlein

In case you don't know, see why Wherlein isn't F1 racing so far this season...

Still think they'll sell a lot of them?

At their price point they are selling a lot of them.  I spontaneously never see another Atom on the road, but, I have seen a few of them.  The engine is more or less a newer version of the one that Brammo installed in the Atom 2's in the states and there are owners getting massive power out of them.  Not a track tool, but, they do appear to be a great goof.  There will be so many more of them, I am assuming that at some point they will set up a track series though.  I have already heard rumblings.

I have had a good nose around them and it's a big old lump and very much built to a price. Three wheelers should be a Morgan /end :D

Not when the other choice is an atom!

2.4L -> 174bhp.  They really weren't trying very hard!

I guess it's not too expensive in the scheme of things, but doesn't look or sound like it would perform all that well in out and out performance stakes, eg. on a track day (as in not enough power to acelerate too quickly, and not great for cornering).

It does look like it would be reasonably fun to drive though.

It strikes me it's aiming itself as an alternative for bikers, and so priced towards the top end of those.

But no, I've a bike for when I want to bike, and an atom for when I want to drive.  I'm not sure larking around in a slingshot would be something that would hold my interest for very long.

After the ROC would you be prepared to buy a slingshot?
