Brammo Certificate of Origin

by Maui06 » Wed Nov 22, 2023 8:58 pm

I'm beginning the adventure of trying to register my 2006 Brammo Atom in Hawaii. I see that some have failed around 2008 on Oahu, and I'm trying to cover as many issues as I can before I officially apply. It's possible that Maui DMV will be different from Oahu, and the requirements, exceptions, and gray areas may have changed since 2008 .

I have a 17-digit VIN on a plate welded to the frame tube below the left tie rod, but it doesn't show up in the database they search. I don't see any VIN tags, plates or stickers anywhere else. Does anyone have more than one VIN tag, or one that's not on the frame below the left tie rod?

Does anyone have a Brammo Certificate of Origin? I may be able to use a copy of one just as an example, to show that Brammo manufactured Atoms of this age. I would not claim that it is for my Atom!

I know it's very unlikely, but I will check with TMI to see if they can be of any help in any way.

Mahalo for any information!
