In addition to the recent forum enhancements such as
embedded YouTube videos,
email digests and the new
look and feel, we bring you news of 2 more plugins that we hope will make posting to the forum that little bit easier.
Copy and Paste images
Previously, to post an image, you had to click the attachments tab, upload the image, place it inline and repeat. Either that or embed the image URL from somewhere else.
Now, you can simply copy the image and paste. The text will look something like this:
- image.png (5.01 KiB) Viewed 2804 times
NOTE: It will paste whatever image you last copied, so please check before posting
Smart quoting
Previously, when quoting a post, the whole post was quoted for you to spend ages editing to get to the juicy bits, which was quite boring.
Now, when you highlight text in a post, a Quote button appears and quotes just the text selected.
- image.png (7.99 KiB) Viewed 2804 times
That's it really. Nothing earth shattering, but hopefully useful.
