You could go to your original post and hit the "quote" button.

Then in your new text of the new post detail the price change in large italics/bold etc.

Bit annoying as I'd like to adjust the price in the first post of a car I listed for sale.

You can only edit a published post for a certain time and then the forum application will remove the 'modify' button and you won't be able to change it.
