Here are some videos of 8 of the sessions I did.

I was quite pleased with my pace. I try to warm up the tyres for at least a lap which confuses some people when I speed up! LOL. :)

I am not the fastest, but definitely pushing on and growing in confidence throughout the day. I just wish I had more time to practise more.

Enjoy. There are a fair few other Atoms in the vids. See if you can spot yourselves!

Cheers
Peter :)

What a GREAT day! :tu:

Great to catch up with you guys once more! :D

Dry and warm and sunny for most of the day. Not a spot of rain. A lovely surprise for Combe! ;)

I was surprised to see 6 Atoms came along in the end! And Ian was super lucky to drive all day with a screw in his tyre will no pressure loss!

Fab from start to finish! Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did.

Vids to follow....

At the Abingdon Airfield trackday in June it was said that they often have no-shows/cancellations, and so, yes worth turning up.

Please don't take that as advice from me though, I've never tried it, so can't speak from experience.

I can. It does. Go along... Especially with cash

Thanks Phil.  I might call the circuit. Yes if I do the exhaust it will be a late night job.  Got a full day today.  Will let you know.  Cheers

On the plus side, as I have found as I do have experience, the exhaust swap is a doddle.

My longstanding appointment has moved so I was thinking of coming along to this but it's now fully booked.  Did I see on some other thread somewhere that there are sometimes cancellations or no shows?  Is it worth going along at short notice as a go show?  Will have to swop out that exhaust

All,

There are still spaces available at Combe on 25/8.

It'd be good to get a few more people along to join myself Ian and Phil. Especially some NOMADs! I want to see / experience one on track!  :vroom:

£170 for the day with free tuition provided by the instructors at Combe.

Book direct on the Castle Combe website.

Cheers
Peter

Good vids.

Might just be me, but "gravel trap" or "run off" aren't words in Castle Combes Vocab.  Modern day track saftey eh?

Correct Phil. Wet grass and barriers to slow you at Combe! ;)
