What is the foam surround around your gopro for? is this to reduce unwanted wind noise?

I have stuck one of the standard Gopro 3M mounts as below. I have also taken a quick pic to show the approximate drivers eye height view it has, and the GoPro mounts required.ImageImageImage

Thanks Phil, that looks a like a nice piece of kit, I have the 3M adhesive pads ready to go but I know exactly what you mean about not trusting them, I would be gutted if the camera flew off.

Not a 4, but have used a go pro roll bar mount on both previous atom and now nomad.

Hello All.

Has anyone fixed a go pro/any other camera to their Atom 4?

If so could you please advise where you put it and what you actually used to mount it?

Any ideas would be appreciated.
