Trigger,

Glad you could make it. :tu:

I'm at the NH too, so will see you there.

If you are able to squeeze Zolder in, we're staying at the Pits.

Look forward to seeing you there with the new beastie.

Cheers,
Stu

No worries,

If you do the double header I'll look forward to seeing you there for a beer.

I'm there with Karl and his Norfolk Bathtub Company jobbie.

Cheers,
Stu

Haha - a driving God.....mmmmm - no that I am not !!

I think the Z/Z double is better tbh - will book those. Not convinced about Spa - as you say there are alot of very fast sweepers and its not exactly what the Nomad is perfect for. Now, the sand dunes........there's a thought.

Thnx Stu - confirmed exactly what I was thinking.

Obviously only my 2p's worth but I think Spa would be not so great in a Nomad as the corners are fundamentally quick ones. You may find that the novelty wears off a bit soon?

I've not done Zandvoort yet but Zolder has more chicanes that I imagine would be more suitable (and fun!)
I wonder if you could play on the sand dunes at Zandvoort??

That said, you may be a driving god who can hold a drift for ages!!

Whichever way you go, any trip away is always better than being at work!!

Cheers,
Stu

Just wondered what people think Spa would be like in a Nomad ? Debating doing Spa in July or Zandvoort / Zolder in September - just not sure if Spa is the best one to do with a Nomad ? Its not an Atom and will never be as good but just looking for fun days really !

What's the deal with the upper ramps Stu?
The historic garages will probably take 2 Atoms line astern but they are a pain as the drop out of the back of the garages can be pretty severe. I would be more than a bit careful with your front wing!

I'm trailering over on the 08.50 on Sunday. I just like getting there early and building in emergency time in case of traffic dramas!

There is a section of tarmac that sits under where the upper pits level cantilever out. There are a lot of concrete pillars but you can easily park a bunch of cars under there all day. This is right behind the historic pit area. As long as someone gets there early enough on day one, we could easily nab an area for 4-5 Atoms without upsetting anyone. I've never seen them blocked but obviously it can happen!

Stu

I shall be booking Eurotunnel after I get back from Austria. Are we going to meet up this side or at Spa?

What's the deal with the upper ramps Stu?

@ same cost as F1
I assume they are sold out, I could only get one for 2nd day

Thanks for the info Bill, I'll get there early and park under the ramps to the upper paddock then!

I know it's all sold out and everything but charging the same price for the historic garages that take a couple of cars at best is more than just a little bit profiteering!

Really looking forward to this one!

Stu

Has anyone got an official word on the garage situation for Spa yet?

RMA only seemed to have the F1 pit prices down on their order form.

Stu

That's cool.

I'm not taking the Atom for that one, going with a friend in his 3-eleven.

Zolder's almost on the road back (pretty much) so would be rude not to! ;)

Hopefully see you at one (or both!)

Cheers,
Stu

Lotus on Track have a Zandvoort/Zolder double header in September that I'm booked in for.

Never done Zandvoort before but Zolder is a great track.

Stu
