Maybe contributors, when posting a maintenance event, could include a use rating. Five stars for track only (slick tires), four for road use mostly to and from track, three for road use with 2-3 track days per year, two for road use with occasional track day or 'hooning', and one for 'little old lady driven only on sunny Sunday's'.
If I'm a two star driver, it would be nice to have an idea if I should replace the wheel bearings before or after a 2000 Km European tour, relative to my current mileage. The more reliable the car, the more often the cars will be used. Completely unscientific, granted, but perhaps a start in the right direction compared to what I've found so far.
