I had a setup on the Z3 Coupe. I would take the mobile phone, run the GPS/map, stick it up front by the windshield (screen up obviously) and the light would reflect on the windshield.
Works really well at night (forget it in daylight unless you put a coating with the right properties), trains you to read mirrored images and text (turning right was actually left, etc...) and the only problem was the G meter which would send the phone flying at any turn (the distance of travel of the phone and sound of it crashing on your window would tell you how many g's you were pulling)...
Day vision was the issue for this hack...
