How do you even steer with those pads over the shoulders.

There's lots of DIY kits in the US to mold your own seat. Either expanding foam or foam beads with resin. You guys should have something similar across the pond.

Hi Rich,

I bought some seat pads from JK composites, which cover base, shoulder, back and head. They make the seats narrower and grip you quite well.
They are not as serious as a bespoke moulded option but were about £200 for both seats iirc.

They are not always great at response times though.

Cheers,
Stu

OK, with no answers so far to this, I have had this guy recommended by Marc Mercer (who used to race in Atom Cup and still races Historics and Enduro):

https://www.indiseatracing.com/

The fitting cost is £325 plus the kit, so probably £500 all in. Unfortunately they are based in South Wales, so I won't be able to get there for a while. In the meantime, I am experimenting with a pre-made solution to stop me moving around so much in the seat while track driving.

Resin seat insert

Does anyone have any recommendations for a resin seat fabricator?

If you don't know what I am talking about, it is things like this:

https://www.demon-tweeks.com/schroth-pr ... t-2014446/

They are meant to be DIY, but I can see myself making a huge mess and making a rubbish insert, so would rather pay someone that knows what they are doing.
