I don't have any facts to base it off of but I do believe I got to significantly higher top speeds in the straights, either way it felt good.
I put probably 70 on track miles and the engine was perfect, then it drove me another 40 miles home
, the IAT2's got up to 178 peak on the longest straights and then recovered immediately.....the temps on the cool down lap got down to 130, which is about 3 minutes, and were at ambient again before the next session.
what's most evident is that I need slicks to put the power down, I'd have to wait longer than Tom who was on slicks to put the hammer down coming out of turns. We compared our notes on where it felt slippery and hands down obvious answer once again supports that you will greatly improve your track times if you run on slicks.
