Good job you decided not to come this weekend, you'd be driving the worlds fastest boat! It's been totally weeing down here all day, my streets almost flooded. I kinda like it actually, I can't even remember when it last rained here.

Slaving yourself off" sounds rather personal!
No time off this weekend?

Haha, well this intern year is really tough hour wise, is what I meant to say, its seems like its all I do!
Well the weekends have now been dedicated to finishing the house, its nonstop now till March. I dont know how you did the contractor thing, a billion decisions need to be made, its just mad!!
No time off for a while for me. I proly wont even make the LS track run next month :'(.

85* at the beach today, crystal clear and just perfect! I am off for an Atom run later down to the San Clemente pier for a cold one.

Thats just cruel. I am at work, slaving myself off, while you post this. Its like cheating in my own backyard!!! Literally, I see the pier from my place.
Good luck with the police. They are not human, more like pissed off robots waiting to crush ur car!

Well I waited till the last minute but the coastal weather up north is running 60% chance of rain and at a minimum, the coastal fog has been heavy this week at Big Sur.
Such a shame as it has been just fantastic all month!
Possibility of coming up early to Laguna Seca to run around for a few days before the track days on Nov 24th. See how the weather goes.

Still, the local So Cal weather is forecast perfect as far out as they can see so I am now looking at some more "local" choices for a run!
Posibilities are Big Bear, out to Julian in San Diego area and then out to Anza Borrega state park area (great driving roads), GMR, or?

Any takers for this weekend?

It's probably too late for me to pop over for this trip now.  :(

I've been keeping an eye on the weather and the latest one seems to show snow for next weekend anyway. Image

I've also been keeping an eye on the plane fares and I never realised they could jump up and down for the same flights by so much (hundreds of pounds fluctuation).  :o

Let me know about any other trips before next year's AtomFest where a passenger would be welcome and I'll try to pop over for at least one of them.  :tu:

Damn damn damn damn damn!

I've been scheduled to work all day this Saturday, so I won't be able to make it on this trip in any capacity after all.  This really sucks.

Sorry you can't even make it for the weekend. :'(

After almost 1200 miles last week through the Sierra's with the Atom and some insane kart racing Saturday, I am pretty beat up! The weather is changing too. It has been perfect all month and now it's changing a bit, so I am still on the fence myself. My ECU is still not in a waterproof box due to laziness otherwise I would not worry so much about weather.

It could be the last chance this year for me to take off though. Decisions decisions!

If anyone would like a Brit passenger then I could possibly pop across for this one as I missed out on the West Coast Adventure that I'd initially shown an interest in.

Alec if your in the area please let me know.

Will do Michael.

How's the marriage going, any kids yet?  ;)

Andy,
I really don't think there's enough booze between LA and SF to keep us topped up if you can make it ;D

Alec, you are always welcome in my car and in my home. The only problem might be weather. It could get cancelled if there's a storm or rain. Not to be wimpy, but we just wait a week and it's all gone unlike the UK where you just get on with it or you will do nothing!

PM me and we can talk about about the logistics.

Alec - I'm not sure if I'll be going or not, because of work scheduling.  But I'm sure that if you got yourself over here, there'd be a seat in an Atom for you.
