It has been done Lew, but is a bit of a pain i remember. I think that the guys at Bruntinghthorpe did it to one or two of their cars, but chose to not do it again to the other two, as it was too much of a pain! (this was a while ago mind you...) Plus the AA3 shifter unit is a rare beast brand new...

I already have the SlickShifter from Mike, it did improve the feeling a bit but I find the gear travel is quite long and yeah the feeling is not giving confidence. So I'll have a look at your link thanks.

i have the springs and the SlickShifter in my Atom 2. Works perfect.

Hello,

does anybody know if it's possible to retrofit an AA3 gear shift mechanism to an AA2 ?
Since I've tried an AA3 I find it's a very big improvement in terms of feeling.
