Finally found a specific car storage company in my locale so now getting quotes based on this place rather than my friends dealership.

fingers very much crossed

More realistic quote from Classicline. They charge an increment per trackday but they cover the value of the car on track rather than capping at 50k, which I prefer on balance. Didn’t require a tracker.

I’ve got ScorpionTrack on mine. £450 fitted, £399 lifetime subs that’s transferable with the tracker. Otherwise about £125p/a.
I think Reis would not offer commuting.

The tracker that comes with the 4 is by AllTrac aka BikeTrac and is £9.99pm. You're able to add a geo-fenced area on the app which was handy because rolling the car into my garage without the ignition on caused it to trigger an alert.

robfitz yeah mine is also limited to £50k with a 10% excess so if you do have a shunt, it'd have to be a pretty big one for you to want to pay the excess. Still, added peace of mind I suppose.

Talking to REIS. Is it normal that they limit value insured while on track days to £50k?

9 years NCB and highest level experience they can note but £1489!!

Thats the one I've got, GT @ £12.50 pcm. great system tbf and that cheap you don't actually notice the cost month to month.

If I were you I'd also give A-Plan Insurance in Thatcham a call as well as they can be very competitive!

Tracker cost + c. £20 per month, can't remember the actual cost. Thats on my current M135i.

I can add another tracker to the same account so both cars would always be visible on the app.

Luckily I've got plenty of experience in Atoms doing both instruction and high speed passenger rides, amongst other high end cars..

I'll give REIS and ClassicLine a call and see what they can do for me :)

Need to ring around a few today as mine is nearly ready. The tracker would be a PITA - what is the annual sub on that nowadays?

Had to have one on my first Elise in 98 and it was an irritant.

Agree - ClassicLine asked the same question regarding performance cars.

I'm Manchester, we are North but not that bad :D
Oh whoops, my bad. I'm with REIS and it's something like £850 for a 3000 mile policy with 5 track days included. One of the requirements was it needed a tracker fitted and they seemed more concerned with experience rather than your usual age, location etc.
Agree. They like to have seen that you have driven performance cars in the past.

A-plan. Tracker needed. Around £650 for 3000 miles per year. Social, domestic and commuting.
